As Saudi Arabia accelerates towards its Vision 2030 goals, the Kingdom’s built-environment ecosystem is entering a defining phase—one marked by advanced asset management, data-led operations, and a renewed emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability. In this rapidly evolving landscape, a select group of companies is demonstrating exceptional capability, innovation, and long-term commitment to transforming how the Kingdom builds, operates, and manages its infrastructure.
In this edition of Built Environment Middle East, we highlight four organisations playing a pivotal role across facilities management, proptech, digital transformation, and sustainable operations.

MUHEEL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
Muheel Facilities Management stands out as one of the Kingdom’s most progressive FM providers. With over forty years of operational heritage, the company delivers a full spectrum of integrated services—from Hard and Soft FM to Energy Management Services and FM Consultancy—tailored to meet the complex needs of both public and private sector clients.
The 2025 financial year marked another milestone in Muheel’s growth, with double-digit increases in both revenue and profitability. This performance was driven by a 72% expansion of its client portfolio, reflecting strong confidence and long-term trust in Muheel’s capabilities.
The company’s Total Facilities Management (TFM)operations were the primary growth driver, contributing nearly two-thirds of overall business gains.
At Muheel, our focus on customer‑centricity and continuous improvement enables us to deliver value‑based FM services that are both efficient and effective for our clients,” says Muhammad Irfan Khokhar, Acting CEO of Muheel FM.
Throughout 2025, Muheel achieved an impressive 94% client retention rate, underscoring its service quality and operational reliability. Notable accomplishments include the renewal of a TFM contract for a major energy-sector headquarters in the King Abdullah Financial District, a TFM and Operator agreement for a five-star Red Sea resort, and multi-year management contracts for high-end residential communities in Riyadh and Jeddah. Additionally, Muheel renewed and expanded its Technical Task Force Services at Diriyah City, further strengthening its presence across Saudi Arabia’s most prestigious developments.
Innovation and digital transformation remain central to Muheel’s strategic agenda. The company has advanced its technology roadmap through partnerships with ToolSense, an Austrian company enhancing asset and digital workflow management, and MRI Evolution, providing a fully integrated CAFM platform enabling Muheel to leverage data-driven insights and operational intelligence to optimize asset performance, improve efficiency, and deliver smarter, more sustainable, and customer-focused FM solutions.
Muheel is aligning its operations with global FM standards, including SFG20, ASHRAE, and BICSc, while pursuing ISO 27001, ISO 41001, and ISO 50001 certifications in the coming year, initiatives that collectively enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and reinforce Muheel’s position as a compliant, secure, and sustainable FM provider in the region.
Shaping the leaders of tomorrow, Muheel places national talent and people development at the core of its vision, investing heavily in nurturing Saudi professionals. Through initiatives such as the upcoming USTAD Learning Platform, collaborations with top technical institutes, and a strategic partnership with the PIF AZM Program, Muheel is strengthening Saudi Arabia’s FM workforce pipeline, advancing Saudization, and building a skilled, future-ready facilities management industry.
Muheel’s dedication to service excellence has earned multiple regional honors, including two Gold Awards at the Saudi Arabia Cleaning & Waste FM Awards for Best Use of Technology and Health & Safety, and MECHFS 2025’s Top Regional Cleaning Company award.
Under the leadership of Muhammad Irfan Khokhar, Muheel has leveraged its strong foundation to emerge as a highly innovative and forward-looking FM partner. Long respected for its comprehensive service offerings and operational reliability, the company is now elevating its capabilities through strategic investments in digital technology, technical skill development, and workforce empowerment. With fully integrated services, a skilled and motivated workforce, and a data-driven approach, Muheel continues to exceed client expectations while setting new standards for the facilities management industry in Saudi Arabia.
