At IFMA's exclusive Executive Round Table in Dubai, Muhammad Irfan Khokhar contributed to strategic discussions on circular economy leadership, sustainable asset management, and the future of FM across the Middle East.

As sustainability expectations continue to evolve across the built environment, facilities management is increasingly being recognized as a key driver of circular economy outcomes. Against this backdrop, Muheel Facilities Management CEO, M. Irfan Khokhar, joined an exclusive group of industry leaders at the IFMA Executive Round Table 2025 in Dubai to contribute to discussions on the future of circular facilities management in the Middle East.
Held ahead of the IFMA Global Middle East Forum, the invitation-only session brought together senior executives from across the region to explore how organizations can transition from traditional linear operating models toward more circular, resilient, and resource-efficient approaches. Under the theme, "Circular Leadership: Building Collaborative Strategies for Circular FM Transition," participants examined the role of facilities management in extending asset lifecycles, reducing waste, optimizing resource utilization, and supporting long-term sustainability objectives.
Facilitated by Dr. Matt Tucker, IFMA's Director of Research, the roundtable brought together a select group of FM executives from across the Middle East for candid and forward-looking discussions on circular economy adoption, sustainable asset management, and the evolving role of facilities management in delivering environmental and business value. The session was attended by Michael Geary, CAE, President & CEO of IFMA, Lara Paemen, Managing Director of IFMA EMEA, and Christa Dodoo, Chair of the IFMA Global Board of Directors, highlighting the strategic importance of the initiative and IFMA's commitment to advancing industry leadership and sustainability across the region
Representing Muheel, Irfan shared perspectives from Saudi Arabia's rapidly evolving built environment and highlighted how Vision 2030 is accelerating demand for smarter, more sustainable, and future-ready facilities management practices.
The insights generated during the roundtable will contribute to IFMA's global research program and forthcoming industry whitepaper, helping shape the future direction of circular facilities management worldwide.
