At the IFMA Global Middle East Forum, M. Irfan Khokhar highlighted how technology, sustainability, giga-projects, and talent development are elevating facilities management from a support function to a strategic driver of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 transformation.

Muheel Facilities Management is proud to announce the participation of Acting CEO, M. Irfan Khokhar, at the IFMA Global Middle East Forum as a panelist, held during Future FM Middle East 2025 in Dubai.

During the session, 'Executive Insights: Navigating What's Next in Facility Management,' moderated by Dr. Hayan Sayed, IFMA EMEA Board Member and a respected voice in the global facilities management industry, Irfan discussed the rapid evolution of Saudi Arabia's built environment and the growing strategic role of facilities management in supporting the Kingdom's Vision 2030 ambitions.

Highlighting the Kingdom's rapidly expanding built environment, he noted that Saudi Arabia is witnessing one of the largest construction and infrastructure programs in the world, driven by giga-projects, smart cities, major international events, and large-scale investments in healthcare, education, aviation, and commercial real estate. As these developments mature, facilities management is increasingly evolving from a traditional support function into a strategic driver of asset performance, sustainability, and user experience.

Irfan emphasized that the future of facilities management will be shaped by the successful integration of technology, sustainability, and talent. From AI, IoT, and predictive maintenance to energy optimization and ESG initiatives, the sector is becoming more data-driven and outcome-focused. However, he stressed that the Kingdom's greatest opportunity lies in developing future-ready Saudi talent capable of managing and advancing increasingly intelligent built environments.

He concluded by highlighting that while technology will accelerate transformation, long-term success will depend on leadership, innovation, and investing in people—ensuring facilities management continues to create lasting value for communities, businesses, and the Kingdom's Vision 2030 ambitions.
